  4. I definitely think this idea is good start but it could be pushed a little further. The first thing that I notice is that the "NC" is being lost against the horse image. When it comes to a logo, you always want to remember to keep things simple and quick to read. I would also like you to play around and make a brainstorm web of ideas related to Last Blast.

Remember on our logo project when we wrote our names down and branched out of it things that we like and can be associated with. For example write Last Blast in the center of a paper and then write anything you can imagine that associates with it (e.g. fun, party, seniors, inflatable obstacles, toys, prizes, confetti) and then create something from this web of ideas. From these examples that I came up with I might then create a mustang whose arms are raised tossing awesome prizes into the air with confetti explosions all around him... just and idea :)

  5. I will definately talk to ben and work this as far as it can go, I wish we could have used color though it would have made it 100 times easier but it will be a great way to push ourselves to make something awesome and I think we can do it

  6. Yeah the first time I was assigned a one color logo I was bummed too, but it was a very important thing to learn! Reason is because many people don't want to pay for more then a one color logo because ink gets expensive and can be troublesome if you use more then one. I can show you half-toning techniques so you can get gradations and shading with one color which will increase your artistic possibilities.
